HOW TO GET HERE
Take Point Hut Road in Gordon (Tuggeranong Valley) and turn right onto Tidbinbilla Road and drive for 6.5km. Turn left (uphill) onto Corin Road and follow for 12km. Please drive carefully as natural hazards may exist and to protect our precious wildlife.
Take the Hume and Federal highways to Canberra, travel time is approximately 3 hours to Canberra and then a further 45 minutes to Corin Forest. GPS units are recommended.
In the event that Point Hut Road is closed you can take a 10 minute detour. Head towards Tharwa via Tharwa Drive and continue on to Tidbinbilla Road. COntinue following Tidbinbilla road until you reach the Corin Road turnoff on your left.
Corin Forest has parking for approximately 250 cars. The car park is unsealed gravel and can become slippery in certain conditions, so please be careful. If you have specific access requirements please contact us before your visit so we can ensure your time with us at Corin Forest is the best it can be.
We suggest arriving at least 1 hour before the start of your sessions to allow you to find a park and pick up your gear without being rushed.
For most of the winter season Corin Forest is accessible to all vehicles without the need for special equipment such as snow chains.
We are situated on Corin Dam Rd, a sealed, all weather road maintained by Roads ACT. During times of natural snowfall or heavy icing, Roads ACT may close the road while snow clearing is undertaken.
