Corin Forest is small snow resort situated in a bush valley of the Tidbinbilla mountain ranges. This unique winter workplace offers snowplay, skiing, snowboarding and hospitality to our guests. Only a 45-minute drive from Canberra’s CBD, it is the perfect place to escape the city without travelling too far. From making coffee and preparing food to washing dishes, Back of House is a busy and dynamic role that ensures the delivery of delicious food and drink to our guests. If you have hospitality experience (particularly barista experience) or are quick to pick up new skills, the Corin Cafe would love to have you.
Want to be the friendly face of the Corin Cafe? The Front of House team operates the till, places orders with the Back of House team, and maintains the appearance of the dining area. Regular tidying, pride in presentation, and liaising with the cleaning staff if required to ensure our dining area looks the best it can. Hospitality, and cash handling experience are great assets but enthusiastic, fast learners are also welcome in this role.
As a ticketing attendant, you will be the first point of contact for all guests arriving at Corin Forest. You will be responsible for checking in and amending bookings, providing information about products, and giving directions to our guests. We are looking for customer service superstars who are confident and comfortable engaging with our guests to ensure they have the best time possible.
Our communications team are often the first point of contact for our guests, tasked with responding to all guest inquiries via phone and email. You will provide our guests with information and advice, assist with bookings, and ensure everyone is well prepared for their visit. If you have customer service or receptionist experience this is your time to shine.
Fitting clothes, providing advice on what to wear, and selling retail items such as gloves and merchandise are all part of a day in Snowplay Rentals. You will be responsible for the returns process and ensuring clothes are cleaned, dried and ready to be rented again. If you’ve never worked in the snow and are looking for a first job in the mountains then Snowplay Rentals is the perfect place for you.
Love learning new skills? As a ski and snowboard attendant you will learn how to ‘tech’ skis and snowboards, fit boots, and provide advice to customers about the equipment. You are also responsible for selling retail to our guests. If you have experience in customer service (bonus points for a familiarity with ski and snowboard equipment) then this role will be a great fit for you.
Are you a qualified instructor ready to inspire first time and beginner students to have fun and be safe in the snow? Come join a small and dedicated school where you will be teaching lessons, helping set up the snow areas, and training to help you improve your own riding.
Not a qualified instructor? Still have a passion for skiing, snowboarding, and teaching? There’s a place for you too! Our Snowsports attendants assist instructors before, during, and after lessons, from helping guests to their feet and introducing them to their instructors, to assisting with set up and pack up. In this role, you will also be cross trained in Guest Services to assist the with checking in Snowsports guests and providing directions.
As a mountain operations attendant you will be out on the snow and amongst the action. Your role will see you supervising the Snow Play area and operating the Alpine Slide and Valley Carpet.
Our Mountain Operations attendants work hard to keep everyone safe whilst ensuring maximum fun is had by our guests. If you love the outdoors and like a challenge, Mountain Ops is for you.
The site crew are responsible for keeping Corin Forest looking beautiful and running smoothly. Every day will look slightly different but you will primarily be responsible for running the car park, general cleaning, and assisting the maintenance team as required.
