Child ski lessons are conducted in our new Joeys Ski Club area featuring it’s own ski carpet, separate rentals building to beat the queues, staff and an area away from other patrons so Joeys can learn in a fun and safe environment.
The Joeys program runs for 2.5h and includes everything a Joey needs to hit the slopes. This is boots, skis / boards and outerwear clothing. If your Joey has their own gear, then that's fine too.
Each Joeys session includes:
•Fitting of boots and snow gear
•Fun and educational safety training
•A full 1hr & 45m of on snow teaching in our fun and engaging Joeys area
But don’t worry, the funs not over yet!
A pass to the general ski area will be supplied after the lesson to Joeys who have a parent or guardian to practice with. Corin Forest does reserve the right to offer this on a case by case basis dependent on your Joeys ability. Safety is king of the mountain at Corin Forest and we don’t want a Joey getting in harm's way.
Learning to ski and snowboard at Corin Forest is an experience you will never forget. Our ski slope is custom designed to have beginners mastering the basics in no time.
The slope features an easy to use “magic carpet” ski lift and gentle terrain and our enthusiastic instructors will teach you the skills needed to build confidence on the snow.
The adult program runs on the main ski area and features a 2 hour group lesson as well as free time at the end of the lesson to master your technique.
All lessons include the use of:
•Outwear (Jackets & Pants)
•Skis / Boards and Boots
You should bring:
• Warm, water resistant shoes
• Sunglasses and sunscreen
A change of dry socks and clothes is recommended for your trip home.
If you don't have, or forget things, we have gloves, beanies socks and goggles for sale at Corin.
